Great carvery, great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff. We love this place.
Carvery has improved immensely in recent months. Ate there yesterday (Saturday)and had a burger - it really wasn't good. Chips were cremated, onion rings badly over cooked. Couldn't find the cheese in our cheeseburgers, overall very disappointed. Sticky toffee pudding was lovely on the plus side.
Nice place with good reasonably priced good. However the disabled access for those in wheelchairs is very poor. Doors are narrow and there is little room between tables. Only one access point for wheelchairs and so you are restricted to areas you can access.
The food can sometimes be great, but other times quite bad. Good selection of drinks, including real ales, spirits and ciders. The staff are always friendly, although the woman who it seems usually does the carvery is always very rude. There's not much atmosphere here, with no music, but it is certainly more of a pub-grub restaurant as opposed to a proper pub. Still, it's generally a nice place to head to for a drink on a warm day, with a good view and plenty of outdoor seating. The kids always like the outdoor play area too.
A lovely stay. I was made to feel welcome. The room was clean with an en suite. I enjoyed an evening meal washed down with a few pints of the local beer. I had a full English breakfast before leaving. I would definitely stay at the Carbeile Inn again.
