A really lovely local pub. Staff were friendly. Food was good and tasty.
Good selection of drinks and a welcome atmosphere. Food is OK, pretty basic but tasty. Let's hope it continues after the current landlady leaves, before Xmas.
Lovely friendly local pub. The staff were all very cheery and friendly- as were the locals. We were all felt to be welcomed from the moment we walked in. The dogs were comfortable and were offered fresh water bowls. Lovely local pub.
Always a friendly and welcoming with great service. The choice of drink on tap should keep most people happy and the food is just proper good pub food, always worth skipping dinner and having a pint and a bite to eat. If you're lucky to be available on certain days, there is live music on occasion, such as Michael Collins and when there isn't that there is a meat raffle and quiz nights to keep you occupied. But hands down, Liz is the best Landlady and it wouldn't be the same atmosphere without her, so if you have 5 minutes or 5 hours, pop in and have a bite... you might end up staying longer.
